A member reported that their HUD's were "doubling up" at the welcome zone, and only at the welcome zone. I was a little confused as experience has taught me that when a stray hud shows on your screen, it means the region requires restarting and also, all visitors to the region experience the stray HUD. This was different as it was only effecting one member and only on that sim. As a shot in the dark, I purged the asset cache for the region and relaunched it.
Low n' behold, it resolved the issue. Note for future reference.
